Arsenal have confirmed the permanent signing of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares.
The two players arrived at the London club on loan in January, and after ‘impressing’, all parties involved have decided to make the moves permanent.
Pablo signed from Brazilian side Flamengo and made three appearances for the Gunners, before his ankle injury during a Premier League match against Manchester City – the first fixture after the restart.
The 26-year-old had previously featured for Manchester City, before loan deals at Girona – for the 2016/17 season, then Dutch side NAC Breda in 2017/18, before finally returning to Spain for the 2018/19 campaign with Deportivo La Coruna.
Soares on the other hand joined Arsenal from Premier League side Southampton, whom he made over 100 appearances for.
The 28-year-old arrived at the club with an injury but recovered to make a number of appearances after the restart.
He scored on his debut as the Gunners won 4-0 against relegated Norwich City.
Both deals are subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
