Arsenal target Dayot Upamecano has told RB Leipzig he wants to leave in the summer according to reports.
Upamecano has been impressive for Leipzig this season and has made his intentions clear that he will be looking for a new challenge in the summer. SportBild reports that the center back is keen to exit the Bundesliga side, forcing Leipzig to find a buyer.
Premier League side Arsenal bid €60m for his services last summer and that sum would trigger his release clause.
Further reports suggest that Leipzig may be willing to accept a lower price in a bid to avoid the risk of losing the defender on a free transfer. The Gunners will face competition from Germany machines Bayern Munich who are also keen to secure the services of the Frenchman this summer.
