Manchester United Brazilian midfielder Fred has named his favourite players at the club and the best players he has ever faced in his career.
Fred has reinvented himself as one of the most important players for United this season after having a cold outing under Mourinho and in a Q&A session with his fans on Instagram, the player opened up during these times when the league is on recess.
In the session, Fred named Juan Mata, alongside Neymar, as the best player he had played with and Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi being the best he had ever faced.
On the academy youngsters, he rated highest at the club, the 26-year-old named Angel Gomes and James Garner. His three favourite club legends were Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney.
When asked if he liked the city of Manchester, Fred said: “Yes, whenever possible I like to walk with my family and sometimes travel around the UK.”
It is unclear when United will return to training with reports indicating that each player had been given a training program by the club at these time when the league is suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The midfielder joined United from Shakhtar Donetsk on a £52million transfer in summer 2018.
