Former Marseille president Pape Diouf is dead due to complications from COVID-19.
The 68-year-old Senegalese was a football agent too, and he represented players such as Didier Drogba.
Diouf has died in his home country Senegal, where he was hospitalized due to respiratory complications.
He served as president of Ligue 1 club Marseille between 2005 and 2009, before he was succeeded by Jean-Claude Dassier.
Some of his clients as an agent were: Joseph-Antoine Bell, Marcel Desailly, Basile Boli, William Gallas, Samir Nasri and Didier Drogba.
