Borussia Dortmund rejected Manchester United’s initial £89 million bid for the England winger Jadon Sancho, German media reports.
Sports publication Bild reports that Dortmund are not budging on their £109 million price tag on the 20-year-old.
adon Sancho might be available for Manchester United, but not until the Red Devils meet Borussia Dortmund’s valuation. Transfermarkt rates Sancho as Europe’s eighth-most valuable player at a valuation of £115 million.
The England international joined Dortmund in 2017 from Manchester City in a £8 million move and has developed into one of the most deadly wingers in Europe.
In 2019/20 season, Sancho made 32 league appearances notching 17 goals and registering 16 assists. Only Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller had more assists with 21.
Internationally, Sancho has been capped 11 times by the Three Lions, scoring twice.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add to his squad this offseason as they prepare for a return to the Champions League.
